What is Rezdy?
Rezdy is a Channel Management solution that enables you to sell your tickets across multiple platforms with a single connection.
Setting up Rezdy with FuseMetrix.
Once you've made your account with Rezdy, they'll usually reach out to us to provide an API key and to enable the connection.
Everything is managed in Booking Dashboard > Integration Settings > Rezdy. We'll generate an API Key and enter it on this page, and add in the Webservice User and Password.
Once 'System uses RezdyConnect' is ticked, the connection is active, but you'll need to set up which products to sell via Rezdy first.
You can also select a FuseMetrix bank account for Rezdy order values to link to.
Category Setup.
In Booking Dashboard > Integration Settings > Rezdy, you'll notice a Product Category dropdown. We recommend creating a separate category for this so you have full control over the products that Rezdy has access to.
In Products > Categories > Click [Add] at the top of the category list and create a new category > Name this eg Rezdy or RezdyConnect so it's clear.
If required, add sub-categories within. This depends on how your products work.
If all of your activities are one product regardless of age range using a 'Standard' category layout (eg. something like Aqua Park, Zipwire, etc), you can link these directly to the RezdyConnect category, and enter the Rezdy Product Code supplied by Rezdy for each one in Configure Activity.
If your activities are sold via a list of age ranges/options in a 'Multiple Activity Selection' category layout, create a sub-category for each one and link your products to these. Set the category layout to Multiple Activity Selection, and once saved you'll see a Rezdy Product Code field on the category. Enter the product code supplied by Rezdy, and then on each activity within the category assign your Rezdy Label, which would be eg Adult, Child, Student etc.
If you have a mix of Standard and Multiple Activity Selection categories, you can add these as separate categories within your RezdyConnect category.
Note: What we would call an 'Experience', Rezdy call a 'Product' - so it may be easier to think of eg Admission as the product you're selling, with each age or ticket option as variations of that product.
Product Setup.
In Products > Configure Activity, when Rezdy is enabled you'll see a new field at the top for Rezdy Label. This is where for standalone products you'd add your Rezdy Product Code, and for 'grouped' products you'd add the Label you want to attribute to that ticket type.
Testing the Connection.
In Booking Dashboard > Integration Settings > Rezdy > Click Test in the top right corner, and click Go under Products to check that products are linking up correctly. If all working, you should see a wall of text containing product info for all products linked (CTRL + F and search a product name to see if it's being picked up)
Under Availability on the test page, enter the period to search for and the Rezdy product code and click Go. You should then see a wall of text containing all available times in the selected period for the product code entered.
