What is SMTP2GO?
SMTP2GO is an email delivery service. They provide all the verification you need to ensure emails have the best chance of being delivered directly to your customers, without going to spam. An account with them or another provider is required in order to send emails from your system.
They offer a free plan for sending up to 1000 emails per month, or well-priced plans for larger volumes. If you don't know how many emails you send per month via FuseMetrix, you can find this information in System Setup > Email > Show no. emails sent over past 12 months > This will show you each month and the number of emails sent to help you find an average amount.
How to set up SMTP2GO.

Once your account is up and running, on SMTP2GO click 'Sending' on the left hand menu. |

On this page, click 'Add Sender Domain' and put in your domain address. You'll then be provided with a list of CNAME records that need adding into your domain host.
Once added, click Verify and you should see everything ticked as above to show it's been successful. This can take up to 24 hours to verify once added, but is usually very quick.

Click 'Add SMTP User' - the username will usually be your domain by default, or if you have multiple domains you can change this to an email address or other identifier.
Generate a secure password and Save.
You will then need to provide our support team with your SMTP user credentials which we'll use to link up your account to FuseMetrix.
*Note: The SMTP User credentials will always be the ones generated here, not the username and password you log into SMTP2GO with.
